If you're up for it, you might hit the Black Hills in South Dakota (Sturgis area) a month before the crowd starts filling up the roads. You'll probably enjoy the twisties at practically any speed you like, as the area is pretty much deserted that month.
Plus, it won't be as hot as locations further south in the U.S. during summertime...
