Re: Help! Swerve, ABS, VSC Off Lights came on!

Unfortunately folks these 4 lights will come on for literally 100s of reasons. I had a long chat with the district rep when I took my FJ in with the same problem. In my case it turned out to be a connector that I apparently bumped while installing my Kenwood.

The rep told me these four lights have come on for everything from a lose gas cap, rats chewing wires (in multiple places), any one of the multiple sensors on any of the 4 wheels failing or getting knocked out of alignment, problems with the master cylinder, even a bad reverse switch in one case.

Basically these four dash lights are the "idiot" lights for everything but the engine itself.

Your best course of action is taking it to someone who can plug it into the diagnosing program and get an idea where the problem is. You can waste a lot of time and money chasing this down otherwise.
