Difficuly may be no more than a 4, but the scenery can not be beat. You get to go to extreme altitudes (which I love), play in the snow all year, etc. It actually is kind of like a San Juans trail in that regard.

Thanks. Ya, I totally get the sceneray thing, and my heart is in the San Juans (go there every summer - at least once - and sometimes in the spring and fall too). So, when I saw your pic from the Argentine Pass area, that is exactly what I thought of....immediately. Thanks a lot for posting and for your helpful comments.

I didn't know we were going to such extremes.
If I did, I would not have even commented in the first place.
I'm not sure why it has to be one extreme or the other.
