Re: Connecticut River Run

Go to the boat launch in Rocky Hill (follow the signs for the CT River Ferry) and keep going north past the boat launch. There are a series of dirt roads that traverse the area. They are usually under water in the spring when the river is high, but they tend to be solid for the rest of the year. Great way to access shore fishing along the CT River too. The whole meadows area is a turf farm so stick to the roads. Also, in the fall there is a game club that uses the adjoining property so don't be surprised to see people wearing orange walking on the dirt roads carrying shotguns.
