Camera bodies come out every 6 months or so and don't hold their value. I say invest in some quality L lenses and keep your 30D.

I agree with this but its always hard to know when to upgrade.
My 30D works great and I've only got 2 L series lenses (70-200 and 24-70) but my wife never understand why I'm buying lenses worth as much or more than the camera...
