I don't see much of a problem blending your own formula and using the Diesel to cut the 90W sounds reasonable ( i have never done this myself )
My recommendation for the chain saw lube is simply because it is a common item that works very well and it can be picked up just about anywhere . The biggest problem with recommending mixtures is without knowing the amount of dilution used you may end up with too thick a coating which will be a dirt magnet for your line.
Cheers.

I know what you mean on the thickness/visc of the fluid to be used I "normal" mix was that about half of chain saw oil. basically was using 90w to thickin the diesel instead of how I posted earlier. but it did work great as far as I could tell.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways at the last possible moment .... "Old Forester" in one hand, red meat in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming: "WOO HOO!! What a Ride."
