Re: Onboard air options

I've been considering adding a similar setup. I was thinking of adding my Masterflow MF1050 with an airtank and then piping air to the rear of my FJ. This unit works fast and has given me excellent performance!

I also considered this unit but I haven't made any decision yet. Here's the link: Wolo HIGH-OUTPUT 110-PSI 12-VOLT AIR COMPRESSORS AND STORAGE TANK KITS : JC Whitney: Auto Parts & Accessories

Or this one: Air Lift QuickSHOT On-board Compressor & Air Storage : JC Whitney: Auto Parts & Accessories

Try this link for air compressor comparisons: Tire Inflator Comparison

You might consider Straun deflaters. They can be preset to a particular air pressure. I have a set of these and they work fine for me.

Another option is the ARB deflater. It removes the valve stem and you can air down in a hurry. It allows for easy checks of tire pressure as it airs down your tires.

What part of MO do you live in? I'm in Richland, just west of the Fort.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

dale
