wiring inquiries

ok i finally got my PIAA 520 fogs today, and have some questions about the wiring. i have read the posts that people have left about add a circuit, what exactly is this and what would you rate the difficulty as? also another question is if i disconnect the battery will i have to bring the truck back to the dealership to get my key remotes reprogrammed?

also with the 520 fogs has anyone had any issues with them melting the bumper?

thx
