Do Work's "Big Black" FJ
You have all waited patiently and I finally have time to make a build on my FJ.
But first a little back ground on me and how I cam about getting the FJ.....
Bio.
My name is Mark and im 21 years old and a Business Major at Guilford College. I live in Annapolis MD with my parents whenever I can get away from school. While at school I valet cars in downtown Greensboro but when Im back in naptown I get to work with my real passion, boats. I have worked at a boatyard for 8 years now and have learned a ton about boats from the job. Im a good student and enjoy working on the truck, video games, hanging with friends, and of course meeting new people on the forum.
The beginning....
I got into off-roading with my coworker and good friend Cameron who purchased a Jeep. I was his spotter for 2 years until I decided to make the leap and get into the wheeling fun. I bought myself a 450$ jeep off or craigslist and hid it from my parents for 8 months while I worked on it at my girlfriends farm. One day on my drive back to school I sent a text to my parents that read " I ran into traffic" Well they thought I had actually had an accident and freaked out. After I explained to them that I was fine they convinced themselves that I needed a bigger car to face the world in. Enter the FJ.
The FJ was a gift from my parents for staying clean for 21 years. When I was a young kid my parents said they would cut me a check if I stayed away from drugs and alcohol until I was 21. For me this was an easy task and combined with the money that I had saved from work for 5 years I was able to come up with enough cash to buy the FJ. I looked at the Xterra but at the end of the day the FJ was the truck for me. The rest is history.....
