Unhappy Is it possible to add ATrac or Locking Dif later?

I got a base model 4x4 AT in Titanium Metallic. Its a pure base model with no extra packages (doesn't even have cruise control). It does have a few individual options (side airbags, running boards, roof rack). I'm a big off road fan, or at least I used to be. I used to go out to Ocatillo Wells and Glamis (deserts in CA) in my '87 Pickup once in a while, and I understand how important a locker can be...so I feel a little cheated without one.

Is it possible to add ATrac or the locker to my base model 4x4? I'm not concerned with the cost, because as of now I can't afford a thing. I just want to know if it can be done sometime in the future.

I don't want to be one of the millions of SUV owners who never leave the pavement.
