OME Lift Kit Install

Graham(GSGMAC) I think your FJ should have its own thread dedicated to it since its been branched out into other threads. We intalled this lift kit yesterday and perfected it today. The install went pretty smooth the only problem we ran into was "clocking" the lower strut base plate properlly which we did today with no problem we had the entire front suspension off and reinstalled within a couple of minutes. Below you will see the picture of what our problem was, we had the bottom strut plate clocked wrong therefor it was causing rubbing on the sway bar. The red is where it was rubbing and the blue line is where the indention on the lower plate should be for maximum clearance. On both sides the indention should face towards the in side of the engine bay.
