My thread was not intended as an attack but as information about a product very similar to the one originally posted.
The pocketbook was tossed in, like many other items throughout the day to day life in an FJ. It caught the mount and pulled it off clean; leaving me to believe the adhesive material had not bonded. It is my thought that the mount would be better secured with the 4 screw method. I'd love to give the AdPad-VHB a shot though. But I think the people using these vehicles offroad and in adverse conditions might benefit more from a more secure mounting style.
I like the FlexPed, I just want it to stay where I stick it.
