Food for thought; The auto start does not cause the lights to come on every time that I use it, but the lights only come on if the Auto stat has been used.
Right, the remote starting, throws the lights because there is a chip in the key that is NOT being read when the car is started. This is why you shouldn't have the lights coming on with a normal key start.
