The only time I envision shutting off DRL's would be off-roading and/or off-blacktop driving with the hope to catch a glimpse of wildlife. I'm thinking about buying another set of male/female connectors to go into the ones you disconnect to turn off DRL's and route wiring to a switch on the left side of the dash (use one of the blanks).

I hope you guys figure out a "How To" before my dad's Ford explodes again and I have to do all the driving when we go hunting
