How to use the ADVANCED search function for dummies

There is a thread on this with a bunch of geek code I dont understand so here is the easy way to get much more out of your search.
when you click search in the top bar and just put in a subject you get thousands of threads that are so unrelated to what you are looking for. Here's the skinny on finding pertinent info.
Click the search button and you will see this.

Now what you want to do is click the words ADVANCED SEARCH .it is located right below the dots that say show threads or show posts. A lot of folks miss this because it doesn't look like a clickable button.
this will bring up this page which is WAAAY more specific.

Now another tip when searching for subjects is to change "Search entire posts" to SEARCH TITLES ONLY, this box is located right under the input box in a dropdown.
I hope this helps ya all. I knw i used to bang my head on the wall trying to search through tons of random posts brought up by the basic version. I know some old hats will find this as common knowledge but we need to remember some of us never got into forums before we got the FJ. CHEERS and I hope this gets stickeyed.
