Re: Windshield Damage Poll

Ok folks I have some information that may be helpful for the windshield club.

I had a crack on the lower left corner that curved up about 8 inches to the right.

The top white moulding strip is glued to the windshield. It is not coming off without damage. It must be replaced. Make sure you tell your Glass repair facility to order the moulding with the windshield.

My windshield was backordered for 2 months. The dealer said the moulding was not needed. Do not believe them!

Safelite glass did a great job with mine. They stayed on the dealer until all my parts were in.

Good luck folks!
