I took the tires off and scuffed the wheels and then gave them a bath with SEM solve (paint prep).
Then spent 12 hours of
hating life taping them. repreped them, and dropped them off at my friend's paint shop to be painted and recleared with PPG products.
Then I spent about 3 hours taking apart the caps and painting them myself with paint made for plastic.
A project I will never do again....but I am happy with the results.
