I noticed some FJ's have silver on them like mine and a friend of mine shifters are black. I think it is the option package. Not sure which one it is but I would bet the dealer would have them. I saw a 2008 on the lot with the black ones the other day. I got my FJ with most all of the options and I have silver. The one I know about with the black did not have the F-Jammer, atrac, or the guage cluster.
