Well, I did get to wait - I left for Canada on a trip the day after I bought it and only got a real drive in it yesterday when I got back into town!

I paid about $300 less than MSRP from Toyota of Escondido. Not a great deal, but I was surprised how little they would budge. Someone ordered it and didn't go through with the sale, and I hear they don't stay on the lot too long. I liked the color and the option/convenience package, and it was a manual - everything I wanted, nothing I didn't so I guess it was meant to be.

To top it off, the lug nut for my MR2 was to fix it up for a buyer who wanted to pick it up this weekend - and he got a DUI while I was on vacation. Nice.
