Re: anyone out there with n-fab steps?
i talked to trdparts4u, which advertises the "predator" step, powder coated, for a little under $300. Not thrilled about attaching to the body and not the frame. They say they 'don't know' if they are the n-fab ones or not. Hmmmm.
I have emailed n-fab to check their prices as well as where they attach.
MikeTMC - will the steps take off skin if you hit your knee on them (I have 3 year old twin girls who love to climb in and out of daddy's new 'tonka truck' - their words, not mine)
Sandi_K - couldn't agree more. The plastic steps look like they came off an highlander. if i wanted that look, I would have...bought an highlander.
truth be told, the extent of my 4x will be down in baja close to the ocean, and the additional drop down ain't gonna make a difference. heck, my dad just came back from our usual 'spot', and he got in and out with his awd forester with no issues. I just want the steps because it will make it easier on my family to get and out of the car, and they look cool (which is one of the main reasons I bought the vehicle...but who knows, maybe I'll really get into 4x, regret buying the steps, ditch them, buy sliders or rails)
