Re: Picked up a few new neccessities for the trail...compressor/deflator
Well, they both showed up today....so I HAD to go test them.
First I aired down one of the tires with the Curry EZ Deflator. It screws on and then removes the valve core. It is kept captive so there's no way to lose it unless you do something silly. It went from 35psi to 18psi in a bit over a minute. Not bad. The nice thing is that you monitor the pressure while it's deflating, you don't have to stop and check it during the process.
Then I aired it back up with this cheapo Tsumani compressor (MV-50). I worked awesome! It went from 18psi back up to 35psi in about 3 1/2 minutes. I couldn't be more pleased with either product and they both came with carrying cases and look to be very well built.
The compressor was $93 shipped off eBay, so it's considerably less expensive than most offroad units out there. Highly recommended.
Just figured I would share the good experience with everyone.
