Definately take to it the dealer and if they blow you off, call regional office. I work at a Toyota Plant (TMMI) and they are VERY meticulous about how the parts fit. I've seen trucks offlined for repair because the gap from hood to fender was marginally different at the front than the back. (and have seen vehicles on dealers lots from ummm...other manufacturers that were alot worse). So it is a concern to Toyota, just might not be to your dealer.
