2010 FJ TT from the great Garden State

Hi All,

When I was a kid I watched the movie "The Gods Must be Crazy" in India and I was so fascinated by the off road adventures of the Land Rover (I don't know the brand at that time). At that moment, I decided I will buy a similar vehicle
when I grow up.

My dream came true after 29 years. Now I am proud owner of 2010 Trail teams FJ. I am very happy to join you all.

But I have a problem I never drove a 4X4, I need some help.

I am confused by the second gear shaft with H4, H2, L4 and N markings.

I have done some research on these settings, but couldn't get it. Please note I read the manual and also read some of the posts on these forums. I would appreciate if any of you can answer the following questions :

1) Is it possible to turn off 4X4 or AWD?

2) If (1) is not possible - Do I need to drive my FJ in H2 under normal road conditions? For example, I want to drive this vehicle to Washington DC next weekend for a long drive just to enjoy my FJ.

Thank you all.
