(is that too low?)

I jsut want the rock rounded out. rounded out with low ends.

No upgrade to existing system. I would like to not take up a lot of space in back. stealth if possible

Perfect! That makes it very easy. I would purchase an 8" powered Bazooka tube then. You can find them used on ebay for around that price, and have your local shop install for you usually for around $50. If the 8" is too big for your planned area, then they do make a 6" model that is smaller. The 6" is more like what the FJ comes with as far as sound quality, vrs the 8" that will give you much more low end.

I found 2 8" tubes on Ebay for around $40 each. They were not in perfect shape, but worked as they should and looked great with a quick paint job. I added an amp for around $100 to power them and it was the perfect addition for my 99 Cherokee. These are dummy proof in design and operation. No box to build, no woofer to choose and if you do blow a woofer, you can direct replace them with just about any brand that will fit. I replaced mine with JL's about a year after I bought them due to blow out. Now they are twice as good as before.

Good luck on your project!
