There could be a pattern I’m not aware of (e.g. shutting off the car and starting it within a few minutes) but, if there is, I haven’t found it yet. This is, of course, in addition to having no text (a known issue). I would welcome comments from others who have installed the unit to see if this has been your experience as well.
I’m also unhappy with the support I have received from icarkits.com; the 1-800 number does not work in Canada (probably not an issue for most of you) and I have not gotten a response to any of the email I have sent. |
Part of your problem is the unit out for sale now is not designed for the FJ Cruiser - they are still working on the firmware revisions required to make it work properly on the FJC, and Dice is expecting it to be available within a couple of weeks. Icarkits.com should know this and should refund your purchase or upgrade it when the new unit is out...
