I can leave the stereo on when I turn the truck off and, when I start it up again, the stereo is off. This has happened a couple of times now.

I'm running a 60 GB iPod Photo - I wonder if there is an issue in the time it takes to cycle on (disk to spin up, etc.). I have found that, if the problem occurs, I can turn the truck on off, wait a few seconds and things seem to be ok.

Here is the note I received from iCarKits:
We have other people using the same adapter in that vehicle without problems, though we have seen some similar issues. DICE is releasing a new software version of the I-TOYOTA-R which will work very well with all of the FJ cruisers.

It would be best to just hold the unit you have until we get this version in, at which time we can swap it for you. We are hoping to get it within the next 1 - 2 weeks.
Probably just follow their advice on this one.
