Indeed its VERY easily possible, but I dont know if it'd be worth the extra stress. This is high grade steel and loves to eat a healthy meal of bits. Ive done this kind of work on bikes as well. On a bike aesthetics are a must, but on an FJ? Its expected to be a little crude. If you do do this make the smallest holes possible like nog00der said.
