As first timers, we didn't really know what to expect. It's really more than what we imagined. So here's a few pics:

Larry was gunnin for one of us, his morning greeting was something like "HI, your going over the edge today" heheh Great run and a decent pucker factor. I still got tons of photos but I'm gonna wait to get home and sift through em and mak a new Through my eyes thread. it will be Photo heavy with long loads. Ouray freaking rocks! truly the switzerland of America!!

Wow Bobtail... you snapped the EXACT moment I broke. It was exactly on that hill. It must be within seconds of when you took this picture.
At that instant I started draining engine oil out of the 1-inch hole in my bottom pan, the left CV blew up and fell out completely, and the entire front diff assembly started bouncing up and down.
But it didn't make any more noises other than the initial loud bang. I thought I had just thrown a rock or something up into the fender well to make that loud noise. Made it about 5 minutes to the summit and the oil light went on.
