Just got home.

Am I the last person to get home from the Summit ? Just pulled in my drive way at 7:00pm(EST) 7-24. I took the slow route with stops in Chicago and Cleveland. Total round trip mileage was 5256miles and 319.7gallons of gas. Anyone still on the road?

Re: Just got home.

I got home last night, not taking the long way. My total trip was 8300+ miles but that counts Rubicon, visiting with family in CA and AZ, Moab before the summit and the FJSummit. I'm putting all my gas costs/fill ups into a spreadsheet so I can do a MPG comparison with stock gearing vs. 4.88's...

Re: Just got home.

Welcome home! Could not help myself and checked your MPG: about 16.4. Excellent.

Re: Just got home.

I know at least one other person still on the road. They live in FL and are in NM right now. They broke down in Moab.

Re: Just got home.

Home last night around 9ish..ugh!!! Are your kids still pruned from all that swimming??? Tell Danielle in Her honor we swung by Hard Rock Gatlinburg! Drove right through Pigeon Cove (Dollywood) - believe me - your lucky you missed this one! Come wheeling in NH soon! Bring the kids - had fun in Ouray.

Re: Just got home.

Actually we just got home last night around 10:00 pm, after long trip home through Montana, maybe we were the last to get home.
