I also installed the AVS in-channel. I only use in-channel because I will not stick anything like that to my paint. When I first installed them the driver's side hit it more than I wanted. But leaving the windows rolled up for 24 hours and getting into some sun/warmth also helped as I actually left mine rolled up for 2 days. Now it does not hit at all.
