This is a first year model of an innovative new design. I am sure at some point the shoe will drop and the windshields will be mass replaced if they are indeed as delicate as people are reporting here.
I have had a few rocks hit the windshield and have had no issues yet.

INTENTIONAL COLLUSION...It just sounds and appears that way. I would be surprised if Toyota will voluntarily mass replace the windshield. The question is why would they want to do that ? You too will have a crack at some point, its only a matter of time...
