Re: Cargo Area Panel Removal

After searching through the posts, I can't find anyone who has removed the passenger side rear interior panel. (where the sub would be....if I had one). I've managed to get the thing half off, but still having trouble finding the rest of the mounting points.

Do I have to remove the upper panel (white one)??
I think someone has written this up.. maybe in the rear door release?

Anyway, the part you are probably missing is that there are 3 screws holding the panel to the floor of the cargo area. To get to these screws you must first remove the trim panel that sits below the rear door. You'll ski 5 screws, take them out. Then pop the piece out (5 pops). Now take the covers off, and unbolt the rear cargo "D" rings. Now you can pull the plastic flooring piece right out, and get access to the 3 screws holding the panel in.

You also have to, I believe, remove the rear seat.
