i went to radio shack and just bought there 99dollar special. it has the weather scanner. it seems to get pretty good reception . i like that it not only comes with the rechargeable battery pack but it also has a battery pack you can load with the double a's i think it takes 8. it also has the 12v adapter to either charge it or opperate it from the cig lighter.
