EDR Story CNN

This is a link to a story by CNN about two people who were convicted based upon information on the EDR (Event Data Logger) These vehicles were not FJ's.

CNN.com Video

I know this has been discussed in previous posts, but this is the first I have seen on national news in reference to data from an EDR being used against the driver of the vehicle.

Have any of you who have had accidents in their FJ's heard anything back from Toyota, your insurance company, or the police about the data on EDR?

Would you disable the EDR if you could? Would knowing the FJ had an EDR before you purchased it changed your mind about buying it?
