Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

I'd just be a little concerned about the cast piece not being able to support the weight and vibration. If it breaks due to fatigue, that heavy jack will fall on your roof.

Consider reinforcing with some sort of back-up (heavy duty bungee cord, ultra-thick tie-warps, nylon velcro strap, etc.)

Let us know how you make out.
