You know what it probably is? The slob probably either slopped
all over the place changing the oil filter, then couldn't get it all
cleaned up so it dripped everywhere OR dribbled when he was
putting the new oil in, and didn't clean up the resulting mess.

So now you've got oil sitting in various spots and it keeps getting
blown around.

You may not have a leak at all.

By the way, if it's the oil plug that's usually real obvious by the
trail leading from the hole or the drop sitting on the head of the
plug.
