Re: Why the dogging on GM?

I am confused why all this dogging on GM products is happening, they make quality cars, and have been a major part of the United States economy for nearly a hundred years now. I am not against toyota one bit, and am planning on purchasing the new fj but only because I am an enthusiast. The Fj cruiser is the only car that toyota makes for the enthusiast. Besides toyota fj's the only cars that I own are gm, and my business only operates with gm products. I dont think you guys see the big picture, with GM sucking air right now to continue operating and unsupportive people talking GM down all the time like many of you, a company that supports more than you could imagine inlcuding thousands of jobs in the United States could go belly up. All I am saying is I am sick of the trash talk of hummers and what not, to be quite frank I am not sure why your talking trash about the hummers when they have continually recieved higher offroad ratings, which I assume is why many are purchasing the FJ now, including myself, and so I can park it next to my 78 fj.

GM makes a reliable product. YOU have got to be on something. Have you ever read Consumer Reports ? GM , Ford, and Chrysler products are garbage. Chrysler wouldn't be here if the government didn't step in to help them back in the 80's . GM is closing down some plants and so is Ford. Ford got so upset about the business they have lost, that Ford doesn't want employees parking non-Ford vehicles on Ford premises.
