Edmund's review really hit the "nail on the head" concerning the FJ's brakes. Two (2) of the long term road test reports mentioned that the brakes are "overly sensitive when modulating the pedal at a crawl". I experience the same problem when trying to graduate the brake pressure for a smooth stop. Instead, I usually end up with a lurching halt. Anybody else notice this behavior with the brakes?
