We recently purchased and just recieved an aluminum anodizing studio setup. We will now be doing custom anodizing in addition to our custom CNC machining. Please feel free to send us your ideas for anything and we'll do our best to help you out. This applies to parts that we manufacture and parts you already have!
Anodizing companies charge minimums and to have one part done is very uneconimical. If you have one to several parts you need anodized you can contact us for a quote, and we will set something up if it works out for you. The companies we used previously charged $50 and $55 minimums per color. We aren't going to set a minimum as this is not practical for any type of custom work, which is where the fun is at.
Don't be afraid to ask, just because there may be a distance between us, doesn't mean the shipping charges will be outrageous. Shipping via the USPS and Canada Post may take some time, but is very affordable. You will probably still save some money as opposed to getting a large local shop to do it (if they don't have minimums then you probably are better to support your local guys and local economy!) For rushed orders we can use the carrier of your choice, but keep in mind this costs a fair bit more.
Looking forward to hearing any and all ideas!
Cheers,
FJoel
