I think that your own truck is your own responsibility. If you do not trust someone to help you out when you are stuck then DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR TRUCK! If you do feel that they can help you and accept help from them then any damage is still your fault for letting them try to help you. I would say that 80% of trail damage is from the driver and the other 20% is from the driver getting into trouble and asking for help.
