I believe you are referring to Klondyk Bluffs/Tower Arch? The first part of the trail is on a jarring washboard road. A couple parts of the trail are a little tricky. A jeep with no lockers and a 4x4 chevy pickup couldn't make it and had to turn back. From near tower arch I took the sandy road south then east and came out near balance rock. It was a smooth fun trail and you could avoid the ruff stuff.
