I'm orginally from Oklahoma so I know a little bit about hail storms. I would suggests buying a two heavy canvas tarps and some old king or queen sized comforters.
Step 1: secure comforters to all flat areas and over windsheild.
Step 2: place the two large canvas tarps over the comforters.
unless you have softball size hail this should protect your FJ.
