Buy the best jack stands you can afford and the best Jack. ALWAYS use both together when working on a lifted vehicle and even use redundant jack stands.
When I was in high school I watched in horror as a friend's '68 'Cuda slipped off the jack and SINGLE stand and pinned him underneath .... Fortunately, we got it off him quickly, but he still TWENTY-TWO YEARS later, has the scars on his neck from a hot exhaust pipe !
That taught me very well to be extra careful.
