I'm thinking of taking a loan and buying a lathe for my garage to sit next to my mill... UGHHH!!

I had the shifters all lined up and ready to go for production at a contact's shop on his lathe, then apparently the guy he was splitting the lease with wasn't paying the landlord and now they have to get their machines out. Industrial movers aren't cheap either.

As much as I wish I was making this up, I'm not.

Atleast I got a confirmed guy with a home for his lathe making oil caps this weekend

And as for the mesh, my girlfriend just got back running her lasers and waterjets so I'll bug her for a favor in a bit... I'm thinking we'll fit a carboard mock up if you have some time, Titanium, then go for the aluminum.
