Yeah, the NXT ceiling transducer speaker is an intersting concept. It's the only part of the stock speaker system remaining in my FJ. Your quote from the companies website is interesting. I was able to isolate the speaker from the rest when setting up my new system. I don't know about the "rich, clear sound" part. All I could tell is that it added ambient sound and not much more then that. Like most of the stereo gear in the stock FJ, it's adequate but not as cutting edge as the Toyota brochures make them out to be.

I'd still have given up the NXT's if I could have had a factory moon roof option.
