Wow, get that thing a shock collar. Yes they are dog friendly as the velcro secures the material and it resists sliding when the dog jumps in or out. They come highly recommended by several veterinarian web sites. Including:

8-12 weeks is way down the road and my dogs need to get on the road. Anyone have any other recommendations?
