Glad to see that this thread has regained its course and people are reporting in with their problems. I agree that this problem is much more widespread then Toyota (or some forum members) is willing to admit. For now, as stated earlier in this thread, wgpowner and I are trying the tradional means to resolve our isses with the degrading paint.

We'll be posting information as it becomes available including key contacts and phone numbers.

We all know (those with this experience) that it sucks! But patience for the time being, is key. I'm with everyone (who's paint is chipping away) with regard to feeling slighted by the claim of quality without customer service and action to back up such claims.

I think that together, we can force Toyota's hand in this issue and have them correct the problems. We'll keep you posted as things develop.
