Yes, I think the fire was 2 Sundays ago. I sent an email off to Tom at
Badlands Off-Road Adventures Basic 4 Wheel Drive (4WD) Training School and his response is below. Looks like it is still a green light for June 9th.

Rick,
The fire burned about 24 acres inside the State Park on the North East side near Interstate 5. As a result Cow Trail is closed. This is a motorcycle only trail. The north half of Pronghorn Trail is closed from Quail Canyon Road to Power line Road and the portion of Power Line road from Cow Trail towards Interstate 5 is closed. The rest of the Park is open. None of the closures will impact us.
