Alright i'm trying to figure out if I want to buy the Infinity Kappa components. They sound awesome...but they cost a lot and I need to pickup some more amps and stuff does anyone have Infinity Reference components or Polk dB components installed? I can't decide if I reaaally want to put in all the extra money for the Kappas...
I have the Infinity Kappa's in the doors (693.7i 6"x9"), dash & rear pillars (32.7cf 3-1/2") & back seat area (Kappa 52.7i 5-1/4"). They sound great but they are all 2 ohm speakers and you will need to get separate amps to drive them. I'm currently pushing the door and rear seat speakers with an Alpine MRP-F450 amp & the four 3.5" speakers are being driven off of the Infinity BassLink II Expansion Module. Bass is provided by the Infinity Basslink II.

If I were to do it all over again I'd seriously consider going with speakers that at least have the option to be driven off of the head unit. The Focal component speakers are very highly regarded by people that have them. I don't know if this helps but if you go with the Kappas you should get an amp as well.
