Will 17 X 8's fit on 4X2?

Gentlemen, I am a newbie to the FJ...but an expert on the 80 series ;-)
I will be taking my aftermarket wheels off of my 80 series to put on my 2008 FJ 4X2. The wheels are 17X8's and fit perfectly on the 80 series.

i plan on running 285's.....my question is this:
Are there any issues in running 17X8's on the FJ? I can't imagine a chop is needed for just another 1/2 inch wider wheel/tire???

Should be O.K. more likely to have a rubbing issue with a 285/70/17...may need a mild lift 2" to 3" That rim has enough backspacing.

My procomps are 17x9 with 285/70/17 tires and no rubbing at all...As long as you have the correct backspace to clear your good to go..

The Westin Bull Bar 32-1600 fits Toyota Tacoma models from 2005 to 2010 according to PerformanceParts4Less.com. They are one of the largest sellers of Westin Automotive products. You can even find the installation instructions on their web site. I have added a link to the look up by vehicle below. Just enter the year, make and model and look under Grille Guard. This will bring up 7 products and one of them will be the Westin Bull Bar 32-1600.
